Police injured after missiles thrown at Walthamstow rave
Three police officers were injured after missiles were thrown at them as they tried to break up an illegal rave in north-east London.
Riot police were called when about 500 people gathered for an unlicensed event in Hoe Street, Walthamstow, at about 21:45 BST on Saturday.
Scotland Yard said most people left but some barricaded themselves inside the building and threw objects at police.
The building was cleared at about 05:00 and four men were arrested.
One man was arrested for criminal damage, one for a public order offence and two for supplying a noxious substance.
They all remain in custody at an east London police station.
None of the injured PCs required hospital treatment.
