Boy, 15, arrested over Notting Hill stab murder

A 15-year-boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager was stabbed to death in west London.

Folajimi Orebiyi, was knifed in the neck outside a Notting Hill estate on Sunday at about 20:45 BST, witnesses told police.

The 17-year-old then fled along Portobello Road but collapsed. An air ambulance was called but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Met said the suspect is being held in custody in a London police station.

Liam Semugabi, who was a friend of Folajimi, told BBC London News the teenager, from Kensington and Chelsea, "studied hard at school and had a great future ahead of him".

A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Tuesday at Westminster Mortuary.
