Unexploded 'WWII bomb' found in residential street

A suspected unexploded "World War Two artillery" device has been removed from a residential north London road.

Police were called to reports of a possible device on Oakleigh Road North, Barnet, at about 14.15 GMT.

Surrounding roads were closed while the device was removed, but have now re-opened.

Police say the device has been taken off-site to be assessed by experts.
