Mephedrone 'worth £60,000' found by police in Bolton

Four kilos of mephedrone have been seized by police in Bolton.

The drugs, with an estimated street value of £60,000, were found after police stopped a man on Leslie Street and then searched two houses.

Barry Fletcher, 39, of Tonge Moor Road, has been charged with possessing a class B drug with intent to supply.

A 41-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B controlled drug with intent to supply, has been bailed pending further inquiries.

Greater Manchester Police said the drugs were discovered after a man was searched by officers from Bolton's Organised Crime Unit.
