The closures will allow work to be carried out on connections to the new South Manchester line
Two Greater Manchester tram routes are closing for the next three Sunday evenings, to allow essential engineering work to be carried out.
The Altrincham and Eccles Metrolink lines are closing from 1600 BST onwards on 8, 15, and 22 August.
Operator GMPTE will provide frequent replacement bus services for the duration of the works, it said.
The closures will allow work to be carried out on connections to the new South Manchester line to Chorlton.
A new passenger information system will also be tested and installed.
GMPTE said normal tram services would resume on the Altrincham and Eccles lines from the start of service on the Monday following each closure.
