Man held over sex attack at Jlloyd Samuel's home bailed
A man arrested in connection with a sex attack at the Cheshire home of a Premier League footballer has been released on bail.
The arrest came after a 30-year-old woman claimed she was attacked on Saturday night at Bolton Wanderers player Jlloyd Samuel's home in Lymm.
His house was searched by forensics officers and a 28-year-old man - not the player - was arrested.
Cheshire Police said he had been released on bail until 12 October.
Trinidad and Tobago star Samuel joined Bolton in 2007 from Aston Villa, where he had played for 10 years.
He did not appear for Bolton in their goalless draw against Fulham on Saturday.
A Bolton Wanderers club spokesman has declined to comment but stressed the allegations in no way involved Mr Samuel.
