A man wanted for questioning by police in Manchester was arrested after being caught sitting in a car with a gun.
Officers were sent to Wykeham Street, Moss Side, with a warrant for the 22-year-old and saw him in the car with another man.
They ordered the pair out of the vehicle and found a firearm, ammunition and drugs.
Both men - and a third nearby - were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm and class A drugs.
The men, aged 22, 23 and 24, remain in custody for questioning.
Det Insp Debra Dooley, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "Thanks to our officers being observant, we have taken another firearm of the streets and that weapon will now not be used to frighten or injure anyone.
"The arrests and seizure of the gun involved officers from the division working with CID, firearms officers, Tactical Aid Unit and Road Policing Unit."
