Man arrested in Salford shooting inquiry

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting in Salford.

Police found the victim, a man, after being called to reports of the attack on St Joseph's Drive, Ordsall, on Sunday afternoon.

He was treated in hospital for bullet wounds to his arm and back and has since been released.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and bailed pending further inquiries.
