Man charged with Manchester city centre rape

A man has been charged with raping a 20-year-old woman in Manchester city centre.
The victim was attacked in Wyre Street, near the city's Piccadilly railway station, on 11 October, between 0500 and 0525 BST.
A 22-year-old man from Stockport has been charged with rape, sexual assault by penetration and robbery, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
He was due to appear at Manchester City Magistrates' Court on Monday.
