Man charged with grooming girl

A man has been charged with grooming a 14-year-old girl from Greater Manchester over the internet.

Police said the charges related to a call they received from a girl in October 2009.

The force said she met someone on the internet before a man came to meet her at her home in Wigan.

A 26-year-old man from Falkirk, Scotland, has been charged with grooming and is due to appear before Wigan magistrates on 21 December.
