Manchester street attack death victim had head injuries

A 48-year-old man who was killed in an attack in the street died from head injuries, a post-mortem examination has revealed.

Abrar Ul-Haqe was found in Chipping Square, Longsight, Manchester said Greater Manchester Police.

He was taken to the Manchester Royal Infirmary where he later died.

Two men, both aged 18, who were arrested on Wednesday suspicion of murder, remain in police custody for questioning.
