Tribute to Bolton man killed in M62 crash

The family of a 21-year-old who died when his car crashed into a lamppost on a motorway slip road in Greater Manchester have paid tribute to him.

Dominic Stuart Begg, from Breightmet, Bolton, was at junction 20 of the M62 near Rochdale at 1525 GMT on Saturday when his Renault Clio crashed.

He suffered multiple injuries and died at the scene.

His parents said he was a devoted son and brother who would be greatly missed.

Julie and Stuart Begg said: "Dominic was outgoing, popular and had many friends.

"He took great pride in his car and was always cleaning and polishing it.

"He was a fan of Bolton Wanderers and was a keen runner and member of the Air Training Corps in his youth.

"He will be greatly missed."

Anyone who witnessed the crash is being urged to contact police.
