Man charged with escaping custody in Greater Manchester

A man has been charged with robbery and escaping from custody in Greater Manchester.
Andrew James Hargreaves, 29, of no fixed address, was arrested in connection with a handbag theft in Denton last year.
A 39-year-old woman was walking along Ruby Street when she was attacked and dragged to the floor for her bag.
Greater Manchester Police said Mr Hargreaves was due to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
