Teenager hit by car in Levenshulme has head injuries


A 16-year-old boy has suffered head injuries after being hit by a car in Manchester.

The collision involving a black Audi A3 happened at 1220 GMT on Broom Lane in Levenshulme.

The boy has been detained in hospital where he is being treated for head injuries and his condition is described as serious.

Police based at the road policing unit in Chadderton have issued an appeal for witnesses.
