Tribute to boy killed in Bolton off-road crash

The family of a 16-year-old boy who died in an off-road motorcycle crash in Bolton have paid tribute to him.

Reece O'Neill was on the bike with an 18-year-old man on Marsden Road when it collided with a Nissan Micra at about 0045 BST on Thursday.

The 18-year-old suffered minor injuries and the car driver was unhurt.

Reece's family said: "Reece was a much loved son and brother. He always had a spring in his step and a cheeky side to him."

They added: "He will be greatly missed by all who knew him."

Anyone with information about the crash is being urged to contact police.
