Teenager raped in Bolton side street

A teenager has been raped in a side street in Greater Manchester.
The 18-year-old was pushed from behind and attacked in the street off Seymour Road in Astley Bridge, Bolton, at about 0030 BST on Friday.
The attacker has been described as Asian, with medium build, and spiky black hair. He was wearing a black top with a diamante-type motif.
Det Sgt Rob Parker, of Greater Manchester Police, said he believed someone locally knew the attacker.
'No alarm'
He added: "We are carrying out a thorough investigation to try and find out who is responsible for this attack.
"The woman is obviously very upset and the best reassurance we can offer is to find and arrest her attacker, something I am determined to do, and I would urge anyone who might be able to help me to come forward.
"There is no cause for alarm but it is only right we make people in the community aware of what has happened.
"If you were in the area at the time or perhaps spoke to a young woman who was on her own in the early hours of Friday morning please get in touch."
Mr Parker said the teenager had spoken to three men, all described as Asian and aged between 20 and 27, in Seymour Road shortly before she was attacked. He urged them to come forward.
