Amran Khan shooting: Two men charged with murder


Update July 2017: Craig McKenzie and Damien Green were cleared at Manchester Crown Court on 9 December 2011.

Two men have been charged with the murder of a father of two who was shot dead in Greater Manchester.

Amran Khan, 29, was shot on the doorstep of his home in Glodwick, Oldham on 18 September 2009.

Craig McKenzie, 28, of Parkside Road in Moss Side, and Damien Green, 30, of Aldwyn Crescent in Hazel Grove, are both due before magistrates later.

In March 2010, two men were jailed for life after being convicted of murdering Mr Khan.

Twins Brett and Jordan Francis, 26, of Birch Avenue in Oldham, were each ordered to serve a minimum term of 28 years.
