Arrests after man killed when struck by car in Bolton

Two men have been arrested after a 61-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a car in Greater Manchester.

The man was struck by the vehicle in Moor Lane, Bolton at about 2345 BST on Saturday. He died shortly afterwards.

The car initially left the scene but returned while officers were still there, a spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said.

Two men, aged 23 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
