Teenager Luke Riley dies after stolen car crashes in Salford

A teenager has died after the stolen car he was travelling in crashed in Salford, police have said.

Officers were called to Moss Lane, Irlam Moss, at 07:10 BST on Saturday after reports a Ford Fiesta had overturned and ended up in undergrowth.

Luke Riley, 17, was found with serious injuries and died in hospital on Wednesday.

A youth of 17, and two men, aged 22 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.

The men were also arrested on suspicion of drink driving. All three have been released on bail.
