A teenage girl has been sexually assaulted in a cemetery in Manchester, police have said.
The 14-year-old was walking along Nell Lane in Chorlton at 15:20 GMT on Thursday when the attack happened.
She was grabbed from behind by a man and dragged into Southern Cemetery, where the assault took place.
Police said the man was startled by a car engine, which allowed the girl to escape. They have asked anyone with any information to contact them.
The offender was described as aged about 50, white, obese, wearing a white polo shirt with dark jeans.
