Boy of 16 held over gunpoint robbery
A boy of 16 has been arrested after two teenagers were threatened at gunpoint in Manchester.
The teenagers were approached in Plymouth Grove, near Swinton Grove Park, at about 22:30 GMT on Wednesday.
One of the teenagers, 17, had a firearm thrust in her face. She handed over two mobile phones and the robber fled towards the park.
A boy was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled firearm and robbery, police said.
He is also being questioned on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
A ball-bearing gun and stolen items were also recovered when he was arrested, police said.
