John Lee Barrett Christmas club death: Man in court

A 22-year-old man has appeared in court accused of murdering a man at a Rochdale nightclub on Christmas Day.

John Lee Barrett, 31, died from a stab wound to his back at Sinclair's Bar.

Lathan Forrester, 22, of Great Western Street, Moss Side, Manchester, was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 13 June.

Police have arrested two more men, aged 18 and 19, on suspicion of murder, who are being questioned by officers.

Seven other men have been remanded in custody on charges relating to Mr Barrett's death.
