Man arrested over Rochdale nightclub murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a man at a Rochdale nightclub in the early hours of Christmas Day, Greater Manchester Police have said.

John Lee Barrett, 31, died from a stab wound to his back at Sinclair's Bar on Drake Street.

Fifteen people have so far been charged in connection with the incident.

A police spokesman said a man had been arrested on suspicion of murder, violent disorder and grievous bodily harm.
