Man arrested over M62 death crash in Greater Manchester

A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a crash on the M62 motorway.

Ashfaq Ahmed, 36, from the Bradford area, died in hospital after the four vehicle crash close to junction 20 at 17:10 BST on Wednesday.

Another man, 27, was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.

The motorway was closed in both directions near Rochdale, causing huge traffic problems.
