Two arrested after woman wounded in Rochdale armed raid

Two men have been arrested following an armed robbery in Greater Manchester.

Police were called to the Cooperative store on Grosvenor Street in Castleton, Rochdale, following reports of a robbery at about 08:45 BST.

A significant amount of cash was stolen and a 60-year-old woman suffered a wound to her arm, Greater Manchester Police said.

The two men, aged 25 and 48, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in police custody.
