A man found dead in a park in Manchester has been named by police.
Alexander Horvath, 51, was found at Birchfields Park, Rusholme, at about 13:00 BST on Tuesday.
He had suffered a facial injury, police said, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination has not yet determined the cause of death and further tests will be carried out. Police said they are treating the death as "suspicious".
They said Mr Horvath was last seen walking down Dickenson Road at about 12:30 BST and have appealed for to anyone who saw him to come forward.
Det Insp Theresa Carter said: "We are keeping an open mind and are appealing to anyone who may be able to account for Alexander's movements, so we can piece everything together and provide some much needed answers for his family."
