Arrests in fatal shooting of Seddon couple from Sale
Three people have been arrested in County Durham over the fatal shootings of a couple from Greater Manchester.
Bob Seddon, 68, and his wife Patricia, 65, were found dead at their home in Clough Avenue, Sale, on 6 July.
A man aged 26 has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
A man aged 55 and a woman aged 36 have also been arrested for perverting the course of justice. The couple's son, Stephen Seddon, is charged with murder.
The 46-year-old from County Durham will stand trial at Manchester Crown Court on 19 February.
The three arrests took place at addresses in Seaham in a joint operation involving officers from Durham Police and Greater Manchester Police.
The trio have been released on police bail until 18 October.
