Man charged over rape of boy, 13, in Oldham shopping centre

A 31-year-old man has been charged with the rape of a teenage boy in a shopping centre in Greater Manchester, police have said.

Police were called to the toilets in the Spindles Shopping Centre, Oldham, at 16:35 BST on Monday after reports of an assault on a 13-year-old boy.

Matt Leigh Tyler, of Parkway, Chadderton, was charged with two offences of rape.

He has been remanded to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 11 October.
