Two 16-year-old boys arrested over Debdale Park rape
Two boys have been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in a Manchester park.
The 18-year-old was attacked at Debdale Park on Hyde Road on Monday at about 20:30 BST.
The woman was raped in a secluded part of the park after she decided to leave, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
The boys, both aged 16, have been bailed.
Police appealed for a woman in her 50s who spoke to the victim after the attack to come forward.
The woman spoke to the victim on Sandown Street near its junction with Marchioness Street in Abbey Hey, police said.
Det Insp Simon Davies said she "asked the victim if she was alright as she was visibly distressed".
He added: "This was obviously a traumatic experience for the victim and specially trained officers are now helping her through her ordeal."
