Man stabbed after row with motorist in Salford

A man has been stabbed following a row with a motorist in Greater Manchester.

The 31-year-old victim and his friend were walking along Sherborne Street West in Salford on Friday evening, when a black car nearly hit him.

He remonstrated with the occupants of the car, and one of the passengers got out and stabbed him three times in the shoulder and back.

The car then drove off, police said. Det Con Cathy Blain said it was a "motiveless attack".
