Teenager dies after disturbance in Liverpool

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the death of an 18-year-old male early on Saturday in Liverpool.

Merseyside Police said the man was found injured an alley in Walton following a disturbance outside Dunnys social club on Stalmine Road.

The emergency services were called shortly after midnight when members of the public reported a disturbance

The victim was taken to Fazakerley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The area has been cordoned off, house-to-house inquiries are under way and police are appealing for witnesses.
