Boy, 15, charged with murder of Liverpool teenager

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murdering another teenager outside a club in Liverpool.

James McVey, 18, from Fazakerley, was found injured in an alley in Walton after a disturbance outside Dunnys Club in the early hours of Saturday.

He was taken to Fazakerley Hospital where he died. Post-mortem tests found he suffered fatal head injuries.

The 15-year-old youth, who has not been identified, appeared before Liverpool magistrates on Monday morning.

He was remanded in custody, to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday, a court spokeswoman said.
