Two people have been charged after a suspected brothel was closed down by police in St Helens.
Officers raided the property, on the Eastside Industrial Estate on Jackson Street, on Monday using warrants under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
They arrested two people and recovered large amounts of cash and some drugs.
Merseyside Police said a man and a woman, aged 57 and 52 and both from Ashton-in-Makerfield, have been charged with keeping and managing a brothel.
They are due to appear before St Helens magistrates next month.
