Workers will be removing graffiti as part of the scheme
Street cleaners, dog wardens and police patrols are set to descend on a neighbourhood in Liverpool from Monday, to help improve the area.
Liverpool City Council will be focusing on Kirkdale as part of its Respect scheme.
Skips will be left in the streets and graffiti will be removed.
Councillor Ann O'Byrne said: "By concentrating resources in a specific area we can make it... a better place to live."
There will also be a series of community events taking place throughout the week, including health events, employment advice sessions and dancing classes.
