Man killed in Liverpool car crash named

A man who died when the car he was travelling in crashed into a lamppost and caught fire has been identified.

Mark Doyle, 19, from Orrell Park, was a passenger in the silver S-Type Jaguar which crashed in Stanley Road, Kirkdale, early on Saturday morning.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving but have been released on bail.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have information has been urged to contact Merseyside Police.
