Wallasey milkman admits child sex offences

A milkman from Wirral has admitted 20 child sex offences against young boys over almost 30 years.

David Sparks, 61, of Keswick Road, Wallasey, admitted 20 assaults on 10 boys between 1972 and 2001. A further 12 charges are to be dropped.

Liverpool Crown Court heard the offences began in 1972 when he abused a 13-year-old boy.

Sparks was remanded on bail until 10 January and was warned by the judge to expect a considerable jail sentence.
