Lorry driver critical as five HGVs crash near Chester

A lorry driver is in a critical condition after five lorries collided on the outskirts of Chester.
The crash happened on the A483 Wrexham Road, south of the Posthouse roundabout on the Wrexham-bound carriageway, just before 0720 GMT on Thursday.
Cheshire Police said a man in his 40s was taken to University Hospital Aintree by the Air Ambulance and his condition is described as serious.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and use other routes.
One of the HGVs involved in the crash was carrying livestock.
A spokeswoman for Cheshire Police said: "There is a significant build up of traffic in the area and whilst recovery of the vehicles involved is ongoing, police advise motorists to seek alternative routes.
"The Belgrave roundabout and the Wrexham bound carriageway remain closed.
"There is significant traffic disruption in the area and diversions are in place at the Rossett junction and the Posthouse roundabout."
