Man stabbed in stomach outside Liverpool pub

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed in the stomach outside a pub in Liverpool.
Police were called to a disturbance involving a number of people outside the Farmers Arms on Townsend Lane, Clubmoor, on Sunday night.
A 23-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his stomach and another man, aged 28, received a minor injury to his head, police said.
The stabbed man remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
Officers cordoned off the scene for forensic examinations and house-to-house inquiries have been carried out.
CCTV from the area is also being examined by officers.
