Man, 18, charged over fatal Liverpool car crash

A man has been charged over a crash that killed a 19-year-old Merseyside man.

The 18-year-old from Whiston has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving without insurance.

Mark Doyle, from Orrell Park, died when a silver S-Type Jaguar crashed into a lamppost on Stanley Road, Kirkdale, on October 23.

The man has been bailed to appear before Liverpool magistrates on 24 January.
