Easyjet launches first Brussels route from Liverpool

Easyjet has launched its first service between the UK and Brussels from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

The new route will operate six flights a week from Sunday to Friday.

Brian Simpson, North West MEP, said the service "brings Merseyside and the wider north west region closer to Europe."

Easyjet, which was first established in 1995, said it had launched the route to provide business travellers with "affordable access" to Brussels.
