North west record label Red Deer Club Recordings are on the look out for new talent in and around Merseyside.
The record label currently works with band Stealing Sheep who have been tipped for success by Paul McCartney.
Red Deer's Duncan Sime said the Manchester based label is interested in the current Liverpool scene and wants to work with musicians in 2011.
The label which started in 2006 were recently featured as the BBC Radio 1 'label of the week' by DJ Huw Stephens.
"I'm really interested in this new world of pop music, it seems to be an undercurrent in what we're doing at the moment, and it's interesting to see what's going on in Liverpool," Duncan Sime told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"There seems to be lots of fragments of scenes there, but nothing seems to be joined together in one place.
"We are currently working with Stealing Sheep from Liverpool and Young British Artists from Manchester but we're always on the look-out for new bands.
"We're slowly spreading across the North-West and seeing how it goes."
Red Deer Club Records have issued twenty six releases, receiving praise from Radio One DJ Huw Stephens, BBC 6Music's Steve Lamacq and BBC Manchester, since forming.
"Steve Lamacq has chosen our single Lived in Skin by Young British Artists to be his Record of the Year, Huw Stephens voted us as his DIY label of the week and we were also the first label of the week for BBC Manchester too," Duncan continued.
"The last eighteen months for the label have been our strongest."
Aside from expanding to include musicians, Red Deer Club also have lots of releases planned for 2011.
"Next year we've got about six releases planned for the first six months already. We're doing new Stealing Sheep music, new music by Awesome Wells, new music with Young British Arts, and a George Thomas box set.
"Then we're starting up an electronic label called No Hope No Faith No Records."
The Red Deer Club Christmas party took place in December 2010 at Liverpool's Shipping Forecast with Merseyside artists Stealing Sheep, Emily and the Faves and Mikhael Paskalev all performing.
