Eddie Pybis was shot in the chest while sitting in a Volvo car
A ninth arrest has been made by police investigating the murder of a man who was shot in a car in Liverpool.
Edward Pybis, known as Eddie, was sitting in a silver Volvo on Utting Avenue, Anfield, on 3 January when he was shot in the chest and arm.
The 20-year-old, of Norris Green, was taken to hospital but died from his injuries on 9 January.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man, from Clubmoor, on suspicion of murder on Wednesday. He was later bailed.
A 19-year-old man and two others, aged 23, were arrested during raids in Stoneycroft, Wavertree and Clubmoor on Tuesday and also bailed.
Merseyside Police said a total of nine men had been arrested during the investigation. Detectives are continuing to appeal for information about the shooting.
