Man arrested over Aigburth fatal shooting

A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal shooting in a Liverpool street.

Bahman Faraji had stepped out of the Belgrave pub, in Aigburth, with friends when he was shot by a lone gunman on 24 February.

Post-mortem tests found the 44-year-old died from a single gun shot wound to his head.

A man, 53, and woman, 48, who were arrested on suspicion of murder in the days after the shooting remain on bail.
