BBC Radio Merseyside's annual Big History Show is at St George's Hall on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April, 2011.
The event will feature exhibition stands from over 60 local history groups along with talks by local historians throughout the weekend.
Tickets are £4 available from BBC Radio Merseyside on Hanover Street or St George's Hall Heritage Shop. Entry is free for under 16 year olds.
The hall is open from 1000 to 1700BST, last entry is at 1630BST.
Talks over the weekend include The Lost Villages of Liverpool by Ken Pye and The Lost Tribes of Everton and Scottie Road by Ken Rogers. Entry to the talks will be on a first come, first served basis.
BBC Radio Merseyside's Billy Butler will broadcast live from the event on the Saturday morning.
Proceeds from the event will go to BBc Radio Merseyside's charity partner, Clatterbridge your cancer centre.
