Charges over Walton teenager crash deaths

A 21-year-old Liverpool man has been charged over a crash in which two Merseyside teenagers died.

The man was charged with six counts including causing death by dangerous driving, following the crash on East Lancs Road, Walton on 19 December 2010.

Passengers James Doran and Jordan Kenny, both aged 16 and from Walton, died when the Peugeot 207 crashed into a garden wall at 0455 GMT.

The man will appear before Liverpool City Magistrates' Court on 3 May.

He is charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and a single count of aggravated vehicle taking where death was caused, failure to provide a specimen, causing death while driving without a licence, and causing death while driving uninsured.
