Chester food and drink festival draws in £3.5m

More than 20,000 visitors have attended the 10th Chester food, drink and lifestyle festival over the Easter weekend.

Organisers have estimated the three-day event staged mainly at Chester Racecourse will have injected £3.5m into the local economy.

Chef Marco Pierre White featured among the headline acts.

More than 160 food and drink producers from across the north west took part in the event.
