Seven people have been arrested and cannabis and ammunition have been seized in a series of police raids across Merseyside.
Police executed warrants in West Derby, Aigburth and Knotty Ash in Liverpool, Waddicar and Melling in Sefton and Roby in Knowsley at 07:00 BST.
Six men and one woman were arrested for drugs-related offences.
Det Insp Mark Kameen said the raids were part of an "on-going crackdown" on drug and gun crime in the area.
Four of the men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, while the woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
'Illegal drugs trade'
Two other men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs with one also being arrested on suspicion of possession of ammunition.
A police spokesman said a "significant number" of cannabis plants had been found at three of the properties in West Derby, along with ammunition, and that a quantity of what was thought to be heroin was discovered in Aigburth.
He added that "large amounts of cash" had been found in houses in Old Swan and Melling.
Mr Kameen said the operation was part of an "on-going crackdown on criminals involved in the illegal drugs trade".
