Fazakerley motorbike collision victim named

A woman who died after she was hit by a motorbike in Liverpool has been named by police.

Sandra Bullock, 49, of Fazakerley, was walking on Longmoor Lane, in Fazakerley, at 14:30 BST on Saturday when the collision happened.

Merseyside Police said the woman died at the scene and the rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.

A 22-year-man from Croxteth has been arrested.

He is suspected of causing death by dangerous driving.

Police are appealing to anyone with information or anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
