Heroin found in car in Park Lane Caravan Park

Eight kilograms (17lb) of heroin, with an estimated street value of £500,000, have been found in a car on a holiday park on Wirral, police said.

Merseyside officers found the drugs at the Park Lane Caravan Park in Meols on Tuesday evening.

Two men have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Paul Hannon, 52, of Waterloo Quay, Liverpool and Christopher Brown, 32, of Warren Drive, Wallasey, will appear before magistrates in Birkenhead later.
