Man admits manslaughter over Whiston pedestrian death

A man accused of murdering a pedestrian killed by a car on Merseyside has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Nathan Kenny, 33, of Braemar Close, Whiston, was remanded in custody for sentencing at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday.
Michael Fennah, 52, was struck in Scott Avenue, Whiston, in December. He was treated by paramedics at the scene but was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem examination found Mr Fennah died from head injuries.
